Overview See and be seen with the Raymarine AIS500 Transceiver module. Receive AIS targets and transmit your vessel information to other AIS receivers. The AIS500 easily interfaces to Raymarine multifunction displays allowing AIS targets to be graphically overlaid in both chartplotter and radar modes. Operating in the VHF maritime band, the AIS500 system includes a built-in VHF splitter, to easily integrate with your existing VHF antenna on the boat (no need for a separate antenna). The AIS500 enables the wireless exchange of navigation status between vessels and shore-side traffic monitoring centers. Commercial ships, ocean going vessels and other boats equipped with AIS transmitters broadcast AIS messages that include the vessels name, course, speed, and current navigation status. AIS500 Features Class B AIS Receive & Transmit Dual Channel AIS Monitoring Ability Vessel monitoring of class A and B transmissions over both standard VHF frequencies. Built-in NMEA multiplexer VHF Splitter No need to buy a separate antenna. Utilize your existing VHF antenna and cable. Includes dedicated external GPS antenna (16 channels) NMEA 0183 - Compatibility with Raymarine A, C, E and G Series, as well as other manufacturers units that display AIS targets Buddy Tracking via Raymarine MFD Distinguish favorite targets (MMSIs) from others by adding to favorite list. Silent Mode Turn off transmit function during tournaments or races if you do not wish to be seen. Targets displayed on chart and radar screens LED Status Indicator Configure via PC Software Software upgradeable through PC and RS232 Specifications Channel Spacing: 25 kHz Antenna Impedance: 50 Ohm NMEA sentence: VDM NMEA input (0183): 1 x 38400/1 x 4800 Baud NMEA output (0183): 1 x 38400/1x 4800 Baud Dimensions (WxHxD) mm: 273x187x62 Weight: 1.2 lbs (0.54kg) Mounting methods: Bulkhead Operating voltage: DC 10.8~32V Power consumption: 200mA AIS Data Rate: 9600 BpS Operating Frequencies: 161.975 and 162.025 MHz (multiplexed) Sensitivity: <-109dBm (receiver only) Operating Temperature: 14° to 131° F (-10° to 55° C) AIS500 Features Class B AIS Receive & Transmit Dual Channel AIS Monitoring Ability Vessel monitoring of class A and B transmissions over both standard VHF frequencies. Overview The Raymarine AIS250 Receiver module is a 'listen only' AIS receiver that easily integrates with an existing VHF antenna using a built in VHF splitter. The AIS250 then interfaces to Raymarine multifunction displays, allowing AIS targets to be graphically overlaid in both the chartplotter and radar modes. Operating in the VHF maritime band, the AIS system enables the wireless exchange of navigation status between vessels and shore-side traffic monitoring centers. Commercial ships, ocean going vessels and other boats equipped with AIS transmitters broadcast AIS messages that include the vessels name, course, speed, and current navigation status. Overlay AIS targets in radar and chartplotter modes AIS250 System Requirements VHF Antenna Chartplotter, Multifunction display or PC application with NMEA 0183 input and AIS compatibility Raymarine Multifunction Displays Requirements C Series software version 3.18 or higher E Series software version 3.22 or higher Product info from Raymarine
